Paris / New York, September 4, 2026 — Keyban has been selected to join the AI Agents & Blockchain Accelerator Program by Plug and Play and XDC Foundation, kicking off September 9 in New York City.
This selection marks an important milestone in Keyban’s international expansion and recognizes the relevance of its infrastructure for the rapidly emerging agentic economy.
As AI agents become capable of discovering products, making decisions, and completing transactions, businesses need a new trust infrastructure. They must be able to verify an agent’s identity, define exactly what it is authorized to spend, and maintain a reliable audit trail for every transaction.
Keyban is building this infrastructure to help businesses deploy AI agents that can act and pay within a secure and controlled environment. Its technology combines verifiable identity, programmable spending policies, and payment capabilities designed for AI agents across both traditional and digital payment rails.
Plug and Play is a leading global innovation platform connecting startups with corporations, investors, universities, and public-sector organizations. With a presence in more than 60 locations worldwide, it helps emerging technology companies accelerate their growth, access new markets, and build relationships with global industry leaders.
Through the accelerator, Keyban will benefit from Plug and Play’s global innovation ecosystem and XDC Foundation’s blockchain expertise. The program will provide business development opportunities, mentorship, investor connections, and access to industry leaders while enabling Keyban to explore integrations with the XDC Network blockchain ecosystem.
The program will support Keyban in further developing its trust and payment infrastructure for AI agents and accelerating its expansion across US and international markets.
“Being selected for the AI Agents & Blockchain Accelerator Program validates a belief we have held from the beginning: AI agents will only be able to participate safely in the economy if they have verifiable identities, appropriate payment capabilities, and robust control frameworks. We look forward to working with Plug and Play and XDC Foundation, exploring the XDC Network ecosystem, and accelerating our deployment across US and international markets.”
— Charles Kremer, Founder, Keyban
On September 9, Keyban will also participate in “How AI Agents and Blockchain Are Reshaping Finance, Payments, and Commerce” in New York City. The event will bring together founders, investors, enterprise leaders, and blockchain experts to explore the infrastructure required for agentic finance, payments, digital identity, and commerce.
